Softie Angel

My daughter, Kama gave me a book called Softies ISBN 9780670070824. so I decided to have a go at one of the patterns, the Guardian Angel for my grand-daughter Izzy (nearly 1).. I gave it to her this morning and she cuddled it into her. I must say it looks better with the eyelashes on I was thinking I had made an owl for a while!

Oscar is here today he wasn't feeling well, so mummy brought him down to spend the day with nanna.  He is so cute, I love you nanna!  Its nice and quiet nanna with just you and me.. I have a sore tummy like you nanna, so we both do!  Oscar was very happy to hold the Angel for photographing : )

Christmas Inspiration

Christmas isn't far away, so I started thinking about what I could make this year and found these cute little christmas baubles  http://perfeito-amor.blogspot.com . I didn't have the pattern, so had to free-hand the motifs.  It looks like a red and white theme this year for Christmas.

Now There Are Three

Gradually adding to the Softies - I now have Henry Bear, Mirty Bear and Douglas D Duck.  The pattern for the bears is easy, but sewing up isn't so good.
