It was great to attend the Wooden Boat Festival in Hobart..and hard to pick which photos to post. My grandfather (David Robertson known as Spot or Bon) was a builder, he built many homes in the Geeveston and Lune River area.. he also built clinker dinghies. I can remember as a child running around the yard and watching him build a dinghy. So I took some photos..and I decided if ever I am looking for another hobby I may take up building a small model boat. We also proudly stumbled on my step-father's boat Iverus which he built, it was sold a few years ago and we did notice sadly that it wasn't as sparkly as it was when Allen owned it.
