  Still NO CAMERA!  I found this layout I had photographed before the camera went missing... I changed it a bit after I photographed.. gone is the Izzy label at the bottom, gone is the doodling on the top, I replaced that with 2 brighter pink pieces placed on an angle... lol I am sure you will get the picture that it has changed totally!   www.outofthehatscrapchallenge.blogspot.com last month's challenge was to create a scrap page using paint, doodle and black and white photo.. As I didn't get an updated photograph showing the changes I didn't enter..  maybe next month.

Camera & Goodies in the Mail

Camera - mmm somewhere I have LOST my camera, my last place of looking is in the pile of rubble on my scrapping desk, otherwise it has disappeared.  Driving home from work I had a brain-wave maybe in my japara coat pocket at work...nope.... I have a habit of not doing up the zip on my bakpack that I take to work, I had one lucky find when it fell out and I heard a thud and looked back to discover the camera in the carpark.  So maybe this time not so lucky!  No picture posting until I can find it unfortunately or replace it.

And goodie wise -- today I received my gift from www.heroarts.com for a comment I left on their blog a few weeks ago.  It is wonderful, was only supposed to be a poinsettia stamp and poinsettia felt flowers and leaves... Lisa had trouble with the postage rate and contacted me - I asked that she redraw another person, that I didn't want them to pay an excessive postage rate.. customer service found another way to freight my parcel and being that I was understanding, they included a couple of other fabulous goodies... lovely notecards with envelopes, coloured brads and a gorgeous array of colorbox cat's eye inkpads (6). Thankyou..

We celebrated Bonnie's birthday at Judbury Park yesterday, its a fabulous place for kids to play.

Swaps are Fun

Firstly I would like to thank Sonia over at http://www.foreveralways.com.au  for the most gorgeously devine gratitude swap.. jump on over to Sonia's fabulous blog and check out what she sent me, you will all be envious.

This was how beautifully packaged the parcel was when it arrived here :)  I wish I could sew like Sonia - I will have to book for a lesson soon as I can fit one in.

The 6 vintage cards were fun to make - I used gold hambly rubons and they look lovely on the cream card.

 

 

 

Card for Mum's Birthday

I made this card for mum's birthday, it was fun to do.. used my new Fiskars scalloped-edged cutter..And the sweet little happy birthday was in the tin of goodies that my swap partner Sonia sent me.  I just decorated it with some gold leaf and gold ink pad smearing..   I am full up with food - we had lunch out with my mum and my step-dad, lovely eating.. and lots of dessert!

Goodness I can't believe there were so many wonderful people that stopped by and left me such lovely comments - thank you to everyone, unfortunately only one winner this time around...  I copied and pasted all the names and then cut up the tincy squares - what a chore! and drew out the lucky name - so congratulations to Sam of www.made4minors.com  you are the winner.
